History
Son of pastry cook and graduated as Arts & Métiers engineer (ICAM Lille 1981), Max PETIT was, at the beginning of 2000s, interested in the promising concept of the vending machine for fresh pizzas. In that period, RUSH DISTRIBUTION marketed the EASY PIZZA distributor manufactured by ERMES.
This device, due to its mechanical conception, its automatism, its incapacity to be warmed in the legal temperature, deserved to be improved. In front of that potential concept, Max PETIT decided to get involved to take back the conception on the base and to improve technically the distributors. After an attempt of approach with ERMES, then a partnership with RUSH DISTRIBUTION, Max PETIT creates ADIAL on March 22nd, 2002 in Normandy. After one year of development, the first prototypes were settled on 2003. The first generation of pizzas distributors was then marketed and installed.
The experience feedback of this period of technical and commercial experiment incites Max PETIT to launch a program of research and development mattering to improve the concept, the automatism and the design. At the beginning of 2007, a new distributor was marketed with numerous evolutions, among which the implementation of new technologies of automation and the increase of the pizza boxes height which allows to sale pizzas with a great garnish.
The results for the consumers were immediate. The presence of these new distributor generated sales scores never reached before, as for example an annual record of more than 12.500 pizzas sold by a single vending machine!
